The Team of Xie Kang of Our School Got New Achievements in Enterprise Digital Transformation and Innovation Research - Digital Technology Promotes Channel Transformation

Wu Yao - Associate Research Fellow Wu Yao, Xia Zhenghao - Doctoral Student, Hu Yangsong - Doctoral Student, Professor Xie Kang, and Professor Wang Qian of the School of Business, Sun Yat-Sen University co-authored the paper "Building the Dynamic Capability of "Unity without Uniformity" Based on Digital Technology - Longitudinal Case Study of Sogal and Distributors 2011-2020” was published in Management World, a top Chinese journal of management science, in January 2022.

The study explores how inter-organizational management cognition affects the construction of cross-organizational ambidextrous dynamic capabilities through a longitudinal case study of Sogal and distributors from 2011 to 2020 under different degrees of environmental dynamics: When inter-organizational management cognitions are consistent ("unity"), how can both partners utilize each other's heterogeneous resources ("without uniformity") to innovate efficiently? When inter-organizational management cognitions are inconsistent ("disunity"), how can both partners seek common ground ("unity") and set aside differences ("without uniformity") to deal with conflicts?
