Associate Professor Xu Jiayan Was Funded by the Distinguished Youth Scholars Project of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province

A total of 110 distinguished youth scholars projects have been funded by the Basic and Applied Basic Research Fund, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province in 2022. Among them, 29 projects of Sun Yat-sen University have been approved. And the project "Research on Supplier Product Strategy under International Taxation and Trade Protectionism" led by Associate Professor Xu Jiayan of our school was funded by the distinguished youth scholars project of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province.

 

This project studies the product strategy and quality differentiation strategy of multinational suppliers, and the interaction between the internal organizational structure and supply chain operation strategy of multinational companies in the context of global supply chain. On this basis, it focuses on the analysis of the impact of international taxation and trade protectionism, and explores how the Chinese government should adjust the combination of tax policies to cope with the challenges brought by trade protectionism, so as to better help China's manufacturing industry to go global.
