The 9th Session of Seminar of the School of Business on the Theories on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the 30th Session of Training Course for Party Admission Activists, and Tsing Ma Class were successfully held on May 29th, 2022.

The online bullet screen was opened throughout the event, allowing students to participate in real-time interaction and express their thoughts, and experience “immersive” learning.

At the beginning of the meeting, all faculties and students stood up to sing the national anthem.

Zhang Yifang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, delivered a mobilization speech for the opening of class. She also put forward expectations for the trainees, and encouraged them to maintain enterprising, aggressive and responsible in their daily study and life, set the goal and forge ahead.

Afterwards, Deputy Secretary Zhang Yifang gave a special tutoring class on "Take on the Mission of Youth in the New Era". She mainly elaborated in three chapters. At the same time, she encouraged the students to hold lofty ideals, develop complete competence, and forge ahead.

During the learning process, the students actively spoke through the bullet screen.

With the title of “Major Changes Unseen in A Century and Shared Prosperity of Strivers – from Business Studies Perspectives”, Professor Cao Chunfang used detailed data and rich cases to describe the past and current economic situation in China and the world. He encouraged the students, as business students, to learn cutting-edge knowledge and seize the opportunities of the times.

This training also invited Comrade Zhang Chenghao, an undergraduate enrolled in 2018 and Party member of the School of Business, to share his special experience as excellent Party member for everyone. Comrade Zhang Chenghao summed up his mental journey and experience gained during four years of undergraduate, mainly focusing on two aspects – student work and public welfare practice.

In addition, this training also organized a Party admission oath ceremony for the probationary Party members newly developed in 2022 and the defense session of Party member development object.

At the end of the training, a novel form of theme display of party activists was carried out in groups. During the presentation, the students not only actively expressed their thoughts on the video content through the bullet screen, but also voted for their favorite groups through online channels.

At the end of the event, Xie Manhua - Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, made a summary of the event. She emphasized that young people should make the best of what they have learned, honor commitment, and take practical actions to welcome the victory of the Party's 20th National Congress.
