Professor Wang Fan - Dean of Our School, Gave a Special Lecture in Jieyang No. 1 Middle School

On the morning of June 12th, 2022, Professor Wang Fan - President Assistant of Sun Yat-sen University and Dean of the School of Business, was invited to give a special lecture on "Digitalization and Management Innovation" in Jieyang No. 1 Middle School.

Before the lecture, Dean Wang Fan and Secretary Xie Manhua visited Huang Fengzhu's paper-cutting studio, painting and calligraphy exhibition hall, student development center, school history museum, etc.

Next, Professor Wang Fan gave a special lecture to the students of Jieyang No. 1 Middle School on the title of "Digitalization and Management Innovation". From the perspective of Chinese and western management wisdom, Prof. Wang Fan compared the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western management, and revealed that management is a discipline that integrates Chinese and Western, combines arts and sciences, science and art, and future economic and social development needs to have diversified and interdisciplinary talents with cross-industry integration capabilities.

At the end of the lecture, the students actively asked questions on "the relationship between humans and computers", "the relationship between Blockchain and artificial intelligence", "how to keep the motivation of continuous learning" and "future major choices", etc. Based on his own experience and understanding of future development, Professor Wang Fan patiently and thoroughly answered the students' questions one by one. The atmosphere was very lively.

Finally, Wen Junyi - Secretary of the Party Branch and President of Jieyang No. 1 Middle School, made a summary.
