The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the faculty and students from the School of Business co-organized an exchange event

From July 17th to 18th, led by members of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), student delegates from the 2025 ISCA Global Talent Programme and representatives of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (hereinafter referred to as "CICPA") visited the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University. The joint delegationparticipated in enterprise site visits and engaged in in-depth discussions on the development in the accounting and auditing sectors in China and Singapore.

 

On the morning of July17th, the delegation touredthe South Campus of Sun Yat-sen University, visitingtheon-campusmuseums and the University History Museum, followed byaformalvisit to the School of Business.

 

On the afternoon of July 17th, the delegation visited the CICPA. During the exchange session, representatives from the three parties shared insights on key topics including ESG  disclosure (Environmental, Social, and Governance Information Disclosure), digitalization of financial auditing, and emerging demands for auditing in the future.

On July 18th, the delegation conducted site visits to Guangdong Zhongzhixin Certified Public Accountants LLP, PadBot, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Garden of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited, China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), the CSGKC International Launchpad, and Singrow Ptd Ltd.
